Filming Your Wedding Day.

In the pursuit of perfection, at AMD Videography we use very high-end JVC Professional and Sony XDCAM HD cameras to capture your day in the most exquisite detail. These state-of-the-art cameras film straight onto disc for the very best in digital picture quality.

Principal filming is shot with one main camera, with a second camera filming additional footage and cut-away's, creating a far more interesting and polished video. Our crew is very highly trained and with so much happening on the day, it's easy to miss the little things which you have taken time to plan and arrange. We pay great attention to detail, film very unobtrusively and capture all the elements that make your day so special.

On your wedding day, we arrive at your church / place of ceremony approximately one hour before the wedding is due to take place. Our crew is appropriately dressed for the occasion and on arrival we take opening shots and film the arrival of your guests. We then stay with you right though the day until the first couple of dances at your reception. After which, your wedding video is
taken back to our production
studio for editing.

Editing Your Wedding DVD.

Professional editing is often considered an art form and AMD Videography prides itself on producing perfectly edited wedding DVDs. We take our time to make sure your video is the best it can be. From the opening titles to closing credits we create a movie of your wedding, rather than a simple record of events. All DVDs are chaptered with menus for scene access.

We use state-of-the-art Matrox Axio digital computer editing systems which work in tremendous cutting-edge quality. Once your video has been edited you may then have your copies on either DVD, Blu-ray® Disc or VHS. The Blu-ray® High Definition Disc format is the preferred choice as these represent the pinnacle of viewing pleasure and quality. In addition, if you have friends or relatives abroad we can make NTSC or SECAM version of VHS copies. Your DVD and Blu-ray® Disc is non-region coded, so it will play anywhere in the world.

We also offer a digital archiving service that allows you to come back to us for additional copies of your DVD at later date without any loss of quality.
